For more than 44 years, Kim Lawler-Coyle, PT, DPT, has helped patients throughout Orange County improve movement, restore function, and achieve their rehabilitation goals. Since becoming a licensed physical therapist in 1982, she has dedicated her career to advanced manual therapy, lifelong learning, and individualized patient care.

Throughout her career, Kim has developed an integrative approach that combines specialized manual therapy techniques with comprehensive physical therapy. Rather than relying on a single treatment philosophy, she integrates multiple approaches to meet each patient’s unique needs. As a result, every plan of care is tailored to the individual’s goals, functional abilities, and response to treatment.

Education and Professional Credentials

Kim earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University in 1981. She later completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2013. These accomplishments reflect her lifelong commitment to professional growth and evidence-informed practice.

She has also remained an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1981.


Teaching and Faculty Experience

Teaching and professional education have remained central to Kim’s career.

She previously served as:
